“It’s personal, it’s one-at-at-time, it’s from-the-heart. It’s just me making something from start to finish just for one person.”

Back in 2001 when I cooked at Nobu in Tribeca, there was a special menu called ‘Omakase’ - chef’s choice. You would let the chef know your dietary restrictions and interests, and they would prepare you an incredible 5-course meal.

This is our version of it.

Here’s how it works:

Have a one-on-one, anything-goes conversation with me about what you like, what you do, who you are, what you dream about and what chances you are willing to take with a garment.

After the conversation, I will pick a fabric from our treasure chest (I often do bespoke hand-dyeing) and come up with details based on your work, your soul’s obsessions, your lifestyle and your overall you-ness.

I will then hand-make the garment for you from start to finish.

Note: Each piece is made using hand-cut patterns we’ve developed and refined over the last 11 years. From these patterns, I can create all manner of pants, long coats and jackets. These are the three categories we will chat about.

After you purchase a 1/1 Omakase, we will reach out to you to schedule your conversation with Victor.

Great Experience!

This was great. If you’re local, obviously go do this in person. If you’re not, make plans to go. I originally was just going to do this over FaceTime, and I’m glad I didn’t. Victor is a great guy. His passion is infectious. He showed me around Raleigh, gave me a taste of the food and culture there and we just talked and hung out. The process of figuring out what to make was just a part of the whole thing. I think the time spent with him lead to a better, more thoughtful product. Definitely go into this willing to let Victor do what he does best. To me that’s what makes this more special. Dictating exactly what you want will take the fun and magic out of it. I had basic idea and color scheme, and he ran with it. The 3/4 jacket he made me is just sick. It’s better than I imagined. I keep finding interesting little details, which along with the obvious details, that all tie into the discussions we had about the jacket itself and the personal reflections we shared. If you have the funds and are hesitating like I did, don’t. Just do it. It was worth it.
