terrible experience with these. i am a 32 in nearly any other brand. i decided to try a 31 of these as 32s were sold out. i could hardly get them up to my waist. i've heard other companies use vanity sizing but to call these a 31 is crazy. my quads almost tore them apart at the seems. on top of this it turns out that these were final sale. well not final sale - but "last call" as raleigh calls it. not marked as final sale on the page for the product. ordered them thinking i could return them. when i realized i couldn't and pleaded with raleigh to let me - they flatly said no. these cost me 245 dollars and i am going to have to see if a second hand store will buy them from me. sucks, but, first world problems i guess. life goes on. just have to say that i'm super disappointed in raleigh and these pants.
Bought the tan color at a retailer in downtown St Petersburg (Sartorial). They're great jeans - living in Florida, I need the light weight fabric. This is my second pair from them. They fit quite snug compared to other 32" waist pants. I'm in the process of losing about 5 pounds so I'm confident they'll fit a little better in a few weeks, but if I were not slimming down, I'd definitely have had to go with 33" waist.
The parts are are made with great attention to detail and care in construction. The material and fit are precisely as described.
