I had to buy 2 pairs. My true to size, 33, is perfect for every pair of Raleighs. I bought the raw selvedge black in 33 and they were tight. I wrote to Raleigh and they said they'd stretch so I wore them uncomfortably for a month. In the end I couldn't return them and had to buy a new pair the next size up. $630 for one pair of jeans...I think Raleigh could at least offer me a credit or gift card...I only wear Raleigh - have 12 pairs...just bought a pair last night...Raleigh should stand behind their customers a bit better.
I wear a 32 or 33 in Levi’s, and wear a 32 in RD. They’re a little snug at first, but they break in quickly and have ended up looking like they were made for me. I love the slimmer, more tailored fit of the Martins. They fit me better than any pair of jeans has fit me. Hoping they’ll last for many years.
Here is a pair of raw denim jeans that fits beautifully and can go to work as well as out on the town. The black is BLACK and the Martin fit is snug but not crazy. I'm a middle-aged guy who is not really "thin", but I love how these guys make me look. The 31" waist is true to size. They are not "soft", but straight out of the box they are comfortable. I can only imagine what they'll feel like in a year. Can't wait to find out.
