In the beginning, we thought long and hard about what makes the “Ideal” pair of jeans.
For us, over the course of a few years, it became our OG made with our proprietary Cone Mills 13 oz tinted weft selvage denim — and working with former Levi’s master pattern maker Christel Elsberg to refine and refine and refine the curves and construction with a meticulous sense of detail.
We accomplished this by sourcing, acquiring, repairing, machines of the great American manufacturing movement in the 1900s, then teaching our Jeansmiths to carefully construct each pair as if it was their own, and signing each one.
Our love, our craft, our passion for the OG is now available in the high-rise wide leg women's Stokes fit.
Now in the Onyx from Nihon Menpu - one of the legendary mills located in prestigious denim haven the city of Ibara in Japan’s Okayama Prefecture.

STOKES fit
High-rise, wide leg. The Stokes sits at your natural waist. These are slightly cropped.
This jean will stretch a bit and mold to your body with wear. If you start them comfortably snug (or ever-so-slightly-uncomfortably-snug), they will stretch out to be a perfect fit.

When it's time: turn inside-out, wash cold separately. Hang or lay flat to dry.
For the very best break-in, we recommend 3-6 months of regular wear before washing.

Orders received on 9am will ship the following business day.
